| So my car is driving strong. It feels great. I even have been playing arround with 20psi of boost on 100 octane. Drives great. I haved a dyno tune scheduled for Tuesday with Greg D. I was excited thinking I could get mid 500's rwhp. Then I started smelling burnt something or other. The car started feeling less snappy in its acceleration. So yesterday I figured the JWT HD clutch just can't hold the power. So today in the middle of the heat of the day I try to give the car another drive. I pull hard in 3rd gear and I didn't notice any slippage or rpm jumps but it felt slower than it was a week ago. The stench from just those few seconds was horrible and a little sweeter than any burnt cluth I've smelled. Oh well. Then I heard a loud hissing sound while driving and then my A/C goes out. Very nice. So I return home as ball of sweat in a car with a burning cluth. Now I have to order up a big clutch and get my AC fixed before any dynos. I'm thinking of getting an OS giken 2 disc. That should hold. And I still have to call Specialty Z and tell 'em to call off the dyno time. What a soap opera. Aren't highly modified cars a PITA!
